My Growing Family

My boys are getting so big! Marshall weighed in at 21.5 lbs and almost 8 months old, and almost walking!!! He has just started babbling and it's oh so cute. Levi is so smart learning words, writing, and counting everyday with his cousin Emma. He also is learning how to swim, and he loves his teacher! Curtis is turning the big 30 tomorrow and is working so hard with his new job at Watertech. I believe I am officially a homemaker now. I stay at home, and cook great meals, homemade bread, cookies and cake a lot and it's fun! We are having lots of fun here in Twin but miss our family in Nampa! We love you guys!!

Our new Litter of Piebald Dachshund's!!

Roxie had four puppies on Sat. July 11th, 2009. Two black & tan, two PIEBALD and all doing very well. They will be avaliable for sale when 8 weeks old. If interested, let me know.

Piebald dachsunds are really special. In order to get the piebald pattern both parents must carry the piebald gene. When two piebalds are bred the puppies will all be piebald (no exception). It is possible to get a piebald from two non piebald parents if they are both piebald carriers. Piebald is a recessive gene. Piebald dachshunds bring the white highlights (or majority white color) without the detrimental effects of the dapple gene. The piebald gene is not self destructive over time and piebald may be bred to one another indefinitely without detrimental effects. Piebalds breed true and predictably. The piebald pattern is caused by the same gene that gives Beagles, Rat Terriers and Jack Russels their "spotted" patern. The piebald gene is safe with no known ill genetic defects associated with the gene. Piebald dachshunds are really special and we have fallen in love with the pattern. The piebald pattern is just that...a pattern. Piebalds can occur in red, black and tan, chocolate, isabella, blue and cream.

Happy Birthday Levi!

Happy 3rd Birthday Levi!!! Levi's birthday was like Christmas day. His aunt's and grandma love him very, very much. He got a robot (which he asked for), a ton of awesome spongebob stuff, a sprinkler to play in outside, and a little train track. Mom and I worked on his cake together, cute huh.

Levi Loves Marshall

I layed Marshall down to get some sunshine and Levi jumped down on the blanket and wanted to hold his hand. I was really lucky I got a picture of it. Marshall is about 12 pounds already and in 3-6 mo. clothes! What a porker! That's really good milk. He smile's a lot and is quite the sweet talker. The other day Levi accidentally hit him in the head with a plastic easter egg and my sister and I told Levi that he hurt Baby Marshall, and Levi started crying. He felt really bad for hurting him but I told him it was ok and that it was an accident, then he felt better.

Happy Birthday Baby Marshall!

We welcomed Marshall Howard Anderson to our family on Monday, March 2nd, 2009 at 8:05AM. He weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz., 20 1/2 inches long and is a very healthy boy and is a very good eater. Curtis and I went to the hospital at 2am and boy did he come fast, so fast in fact that my epidural didn't take so I had the pleasure of a natural childbirth. Curtis had the privilege of delivering Marshall with the doctors help. Levi loves Baby Marshall and tried to share his chicken nuggets his first night home. Levi loves to watch mommy change Marshall's diaper and when we go to the doctor he has to watch everything the doctor does to his little brother. We are a very happy family and it's fun having a newborn around again.
